Responsibilities

You will take full ownership of a software engineering team and ensure successful feature delivery while aligning execution with product and organizational priorities.

  • Own team delivery and technical execution across the roadmap.

  • Foster a culture of high performance, growth, and engineering ownership.

  • Plan, structure, and coordinate complex technical projects.

  • Advocate for your team’s technical needs with internal stakeholders.

  • Support performance management, coaching, and career development.

  • Maintain alignment between engineering execution and product strategy.

Required Skills

  • Strong background in Engineering Management.

  • Significant hands-on experience as a Senior Software Engineer.

  • Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, architecture, reliability).

  • Clear understanding of critical distributed systems (consensus, scalability, fault tolerance).

  • Strong written and spoken English for international collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Rust and OCaml.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in blockchain / DLT R&D environments.

  • Exposure to open-source, protocol, or infrastructure-level systems.

  • Knowledge of additional languages (Haskell, Go, C++).

Soft Skills

Qualifications

  • Years of experience:

    • 8+ years in software engineering (distributed systems or backend preferred).

    • 3+ years in engineering leadership/management.

  • Proven ability to lead senior technical teams in complex environments.

  • Track record of delivering large, performance-critical projects.
